PI Water and Eczema, Asthma and Hay Fever

In October 2004, I purchased a PI Water System. After about 3 or 4 weeks my eczema began to clear up quite dramatically. I had been suffering from the condition for about 7 years since living under some powerlines in Melbourne. It had got to such a state that I had about 20 blood tests, numerous allergy tests and eventually had to have 3 liver biopsies and take strong immune system suppressant drugs. I had been to an endless line of dermatologists, gastroenterologists, Chinese herbalists, naturopaths and anyone else who I thought could help me. All to no avail. I felt like I was living in a hessian suit 24 hours a day, scratching ALL the time with huge welts on my body that would split open when I turned the steering wheel of my car or stretched ever so slightly to do just about anything. I had to moisturise my skin about 5 times each day and 2 or 3 times during the night. It was terrible.

It's now 5 months since we started on the PI Water and my skin is about 80% better. I have finally been able to concentrate on other matters rather than scratching like a mangy dog.

Recently though, my partner, Tracey and I went on holiday to Broome in Western Australia. After a couple of days there, my skin started to flare up again and Tracey started to get her hay fever back again. Before we got the PI Water System, Tracey would sneeze in the shower perhaps 10 to 20 times and the same in the ocean, stream or any swimming pool. She would also sneeze on windy days. While we were away in Broome, she continued to sneeze every time she went swimming or showered or when it became windy.

On returning home after 10 days away, we started on our PI water again and within 2 days my skin returned to its healthy state and Tracey had stopped sneezing in the shower or out in the paddocks of our farm.

Another interesting point which we noticed was that Tracey's daughter, Tarni, who has been a chronic asthmatic all her life had had a number of attacks while we were away. When we returned, Tarni started drinking the PI Water again and her attacks subsided almost immediately. It was only then that we realised that she had not had an attack over the last 4 or 5 months since we got the water system.

So now we're all wondering how we can take our PI water with us when we go on holiday anywhere in the future. We would love to see Nikken solve that problem for us with a portable unit in the future.
